Summary
A search for fungi on dead stems and leaves of grasses carried out in 1999/2001 in different localities of the Antwerp area, resulted in 62 species belonging to 33 genera. In four parts of the report 34 species are briefly described and illustrated; part 1 includes 11 species belonging to the following orders: Diaportales: Gaeumannomyces graminis var. avenae; Dothideales: Acrospermum gramineum, Botryosphaeria festucae, Phaeosphaeria fuckelii, P. graminis, P. lucteosa, P. nigrans, P. nodorum, P. ovei, P. pulchra, P. tritici.
Five species have presumedly not yet been recorded for Belgium, viz. Gaeumannomyees graminis var. avenae, Botryosphaeria festucae, Phaeosphaeria ovei, P. pulchra and P. tritici. A global list of the observed fungi is given in the last part of the article. Exsiccata of the recorded species are deposited in the Herbarium Horti Bot. Nat. Belgii (BR).
Samenvatting
Een onderzoek naar het voorkomen van paddenstoelen op stengels en bladeren van grassen, dat werd uitgevoerd in 1999/2001 in de Antwerpse regio, resulteerde in 62 soorten behorend tot 33 genera. In dit vier delen tellende artikel worden 34 soorten kort beschreven en geďllustreerd. Deel 1 bevat 11 soorten, behorende tot de volgende ordes: Diaporthales: Gaeumannomyces graminis var. avenae; Dothideales: Acrospermum graminum, Botryosphaeria festucae, Phaeosphaeria fuckelii, P. graminis, P. lucteosa, P. nigrans, P. nodorum, P. ovei, P. pulchra, P. tritici. Vijf soorten werden waarschijnlijk nog niet eerder gevonden in België: Gaeumannomyces graminis var. avenae, Botryosphaeria festucae, Phaeosphaeria ovei., P. pulchra en P. tritici. Een globale lijst van de gevonden paddenstoelen wordt aan het laatste artikel in de reeks toegevoegd. Exsiccata van de gevonden soorten werden overgemaakt aan het herbarium van de Nationale Plantentuin te Meise (BR).

Het genus Clathrus in Noord-België
Summary
Updated distribution maps are given of Clathrus ruber and C. archeri in northern Belgium. The former is known from the area since at least 1889. It grows especially in gardens. The species does not seem to spread continuously, but the last decade several new localities are recorded. Clathrus archeri latter was first observed in 1968, near Brussels. The last decade it has increased significantly in the area.
