Summary:
A provisional key to the species of the genus Galerina in Flanders is presented. The key is mainly practical and does not follow the traditional systematical structure of the genus. Spores- and cystidia diagrams are added, as well as a glossary of terms, largely based on the interpretations of Josserand (1952).

Paddenstoelen op grassen (deel 3)
De Meulder H. Fungi on grasses (part 3). Med. Antwerpse Mycol. Kring 2006.2: 59-63.
Summary:
A search for fungi on dead stems and leaves of grasses carried out in 1999/2001 in different localities of the Antwerp area, resulted in 62 species belonging to 33 genera.
In this third part of this paper eight species are briefly described and illustrated. They belong to the following orders : Leotiales: Belonopsis filispora, Cejpia hystrix, Dennisiodiscus prasinus, Cyathicula culmicola, Lachnum tennuissimum, Merostictis exigua, Mollisia caricina; Polystigmatales: Phyllachora graminis.
Merostictis exigua was not yet reported from Belgium.
Dam, N. 2006. Is every Gymnopilus sapineus Gymnopilus sapineus? AMK-Mededelingen 2006.3: 77-81
This paper is a brief report on the results of an earlier appeal (Dam, 2002) for data on putative discriminating characters for Gymnopilus sapineus and G. penetrans (based on Clemençon, 2002). The characterstates are often found to occur mixed in individual collections, so that it is concluded that they are not suitable for the discrimination of two (morphological) species. Recent morphological and molecular studies indicate that two species can be recognized in this complex after all, and the literature on this issue is summarized. Both species may occur in the Netherlands, based on the discriminating characters presented by Holec (2005).
